When the final Checkered flag fell in the Pro Challenge National Series, Joe Pilato once again emerged as the National Champion! Joe became only the second Driver in the Pro Challenge National Series history to win the Championship three times. Not only did he win it three times, he did it three times in a row!!!
It has been no secret that Joe has been the man to beat in the National Series since he won his first National Crown in 2012. This year has been the most challenging for Joe as he was facing stonger competition from several drivers this year and none stronger than the 2014 National Rookie of the year Connor Okrzesik from the Alabama Region. Connor won the Alabama Regional Championship the previous week in his Rookie year. First Time Regional Champion Josh Nicholson from the Canadian Region challenged all year but was unable to make it to the Championship Races. Paul White always runs well in the Series but also was not able to make the Final races. New racers Blaise Rutherford, Sean Quinn and Sene Capps finished strong in the CHampionship Races and look to be a factor in the 2015 Pro Challenge Series.
Congratulations to Joe Pilato on his Third National Championship!
